Here are the best pictures to come out of my short photoshoot today. The car’s a bit dirty and whatnot since it’s been living daily driver status recently. Probably the last photos before the new rims go on.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I’m quite pleased that I found a 1978 Indiana license plate for the car.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Now I need to give the thing a bath because driving on that gravel road got dust absolutely everywhere!

The car is pretty and the photographer did a good job.

I had higher expectations though.

Good luck, mine’s an 81 so I know how awful working around all the computer stuff is.

This one is about as void of electronics as a car can get. Harvy bird is manual everything, including steering and brakes. We’re actually swapping in an LT1/T56 combination out of a 4th gen Camaro. We just finished rebuilding, painting and RPMing everything from the firewall forward and now have to finish painting the undercarriage.

When I bought the car it had a 400/TH400 combination swapped in already. I gave it to my brother and we swapped in a carb’d Gen II LT1. That one got messed up so now we’re going to run fuel injection and the manual. Once we get some things back together I’ll probably begin making some build posts.

In my opinion, this is still the greatest Oppo turnaround story. I remember how much of a mess this thing was when you bought it. Awesome work.

Haha that thing is a long way off. But it’ll get there someday.
